Full prompt and why it works
Prompt
Prepare responses to the sales objections below, for me to use on calls and in email with {{buyer_type}}. I sell {{product}}. The goal is to answer each objection honestly so the buyer can make a good decision, not to talk them out of a concern that is real.

Objections I keep hearing, in the buyer's words:
"""
{{objections}}
"""

Facts I can use (prices, terms, results, customers I may name):
"""
{{approved_facts}}
"""

What I know about competitors, with sources:
"""
{{competitor_notes}}
"""

Format: one section per objection, headed with the objection in the buyer's words, with these five numbered parts:
1. What it may really mean: two or three likely concerns behind it. For example, "too expensive" can mean the value is unclear, the budget is already spent, or the person is not the one who decides.
2. A question to ask first, so I answer the real concern instead of the one I assume.
3. A spoken response of 40 to 70 words that acknowledges the concern, answers it with one fact from above, and ends with a check such as "Does that cover it?"
4. Proof to use: the specific fact, or "None in my facts".
5. When to let it go: the sign that this buyer is genuinely not a fit.

Rules:
- Use only the facts above. Do not invent results, customer names, discounts, guarantees or deadlines, because a buyer who catches one made-up claim stops trusting the rest.
- Never offer a discount or special term unless it appears in my facts.
- For competitor comparisons, use only my notes. Mark any competitor claim without a source "[UNVERIFIED: check before using]", and say nothing negative about a competitor that the notes do not support.
- Avoid pressure tactics, false urgency and any line that makes the buyer feel foolish for asking.

The responses should sound like a calm, knowledgeable person talking, not a script being read.

If an objection is too vague to answer, or my facts do not support an honest answer to it, say so for that objection and name the fact I would need.

Variables

{{buyer_type}}
Who you sell to, for example "operations managers at mid-sized manufacturers".
{{product}}
What you sell, in a sentence.
{{objections}}
The objections you hear, one per line, in the buyer's own words where you can.
{{approved_facts}}
Prices, terms, results and customer names you are allowed to use. Write "none" for anything you do not have.
{{competitor_notes}}
What you know about the competitors buyers mention, with where each fact came from. Write "none" if it does not apply.

Why it works

  • Format. Each objection gets the likely concern behind it and a question to ask first, so you answer what the buyer means rather than the words they used.
  • What to avoid. No invented results or discounts, and competitor claims without a source are marked unverified, so nothing you say on a call can be caught out later.
  • If unsure. When your facts do not support an honest answer, it says so and names the fact you need, instead of writing a confident line you cannot back up.

How to use it

  1. Press Fill in variables and type your details into each blank. What you type stays in this browser.
  2. Copy the filled prompt into the AI tool you already use, such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, or open it in the Grader or the Prompt Tester here.
  3. Before you rely on it, try it on three or four real examples. The Prompt Tester runs them all at once and shows which ones go wrong.
