My Prompts

Every prompt you save from any tool, with its full version history. Compare versions, roll back, and open any of them in another tool. It all stays in this browser.

New to this? What it does, in plain words

It keeps your prompts in one place and remembers every version you save.

Use it for prompts you reuse, such as a weekly report request, a standard customer reply or a job ad. When a prompt starts giving worse results, you can see exactly what changed since last month and go back to the version that worked. The mineral name and number on each card is its hardness, a free estimate of how clearly it is written.

What you need

No API key and no account. Your prompts are stored in this browser only, so they are not on our servers and do not follow you to another device. Use Export all to keep a backup file, and Import to load it on another computer.

How to use it

  1. Press New prompt, or add the six starter prompts if your library is empty.
  2. Edit the text and save. Each save becomes a new version, with a short note on what changed.
  3. Open a prompt's History tab to compare any two versions word by word, or restore an older one.
  4. Use Open in to send a prompt to the Prompt Grader, Prompt Tester or another tool.

Keep every version of every prompt

Prompts are code that nobody versions. The library keeps each saved version, so a change that made things worse is one click from undone.

How My Prompts keeps every version
  1. Free, in this browser only. Nothing is uploaded.. SaveFrom any tool, with a short note on what changed and why.
  2. Free, in this browser only. Nothing is uploaded.. Keep every versionEach save keeps the text, the note and the date. Nothing is overwritten.
  3. Free, in this browser only. Nothing is uploaded.. CompareAny two versions, word by word, to see what changed when results got worse.
  4. Free, in this browser only. Nothing is uploaded.. ReuseOpen a version in any tool, or export everything as one file to back it up.

Why version prompts

A prompt changes many times before it settles, and the reasons for each change are easy to forget. When outputs get worse a week later, the question is always the same: what did we change? A version history answers it. Each save keeps the text, a short note on what changed, and the date, and any two versions can be compared word by word.

Every tool on thinkhard.si can save to the library and open from it. Save a prompt from the Grader, compare two versions in Version Compare, then send both to Prompt Tester to see which one does better on your test cases.

Where your prompts live

Only in this browser, in its local database. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account, and thinkhard.si never sees your prompts. That also means clearing this site's data, or using a private window, removes them, and they do not follow you to another device or browser on their own.

  • Back up: use Export all to download a JSON file with every prompt and every version.
  • Move devices: import that file in the library on the other device. Prompts that are already there are merged, not duplicated.
  • Share one prompt: Share creates a link that carries the prompt inside the link itself. The person who opens it can add a copy to their own library.

Questions

What does the rock next to each prompt mean?

It is a thin section, the brand's picture of a prompt. Each prompt grows its own rock from its text, and harder prompts grow larger crystals. The number is the free score out of 10: how many of the Grader's ten checks the latest version covers, with a word for it, from Needs work to Excellent. It is a keyword-based checklist, not a model's judgment.

What happens when I restore an old version?

Its text is saved again as a new latest version, with a note saying where it came from. Nothing in the history is overwritten, so you can always go back to the version you restored from.

What files can I import?

A library export, a single prompt exported from its menu, a list of prompts in the same shape, or a full export from Settings. A full export can also restore test suites, model comparisons and other records, and you can choose to import only the prompts. API keys are never part of an export.

Is there a limit to how many prompts I can keep?

The browser sets the limit, and it is usually far more than a prompt library needs. Browsers can clear site data when a device runs very low on space, so export a backup now and then.

Will there be sync across devices?

Cloud sync and shared team libraries are planned for a paid tier. The free library will stay free and local. See what is planned.
