Build a prompt from a few plain answers
Say what you need, who it is for and what the AI should know. The Prompt Builder writes the prompt as you type, laid out the way ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini reads best, and scores it live on the ten checks. Nothing you type leaves this browser.

New to this? What it does, in plain words
Most prompts are one line, so the AI fills every gap with a guess. This asks you for the missing pieces, one plain question at a time.
Use it when the first answer from an AI keeps missing the point. Pick the kind of job, answer what you can, and copy the prompt it builds into the AI you use. The more questions you answer, the higher the score and the fewer rounds of “make it better”.
What you get
One prompt, ready to paste, with your facts set apart from your instructions and a line telling the AI to ask rather than guess. Switch the layout to suit ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or any chat.
Where it goes
Nowhere. It is built in your browser. Copy it, open it in ChatGPT or Claude, or save it to My Prompts.
Your answers
This looks like it has names, emails or numbers in it. Hide them with Safe Paste before you paste the prompt into an AI.

Why these nine questions
Each one answers a check a good prompt passes. A request typed in one line usually passes one of them; this page asks for the rest.
Scored with the Prompt Grader's free ten checks. See the study in What a one-line prompt scores.
Why the layout changes by model
Each model maker publishes advice on how to write for its models. Anthropic suggests wrapping each kind of content in its own tag for Claude, with long material before the question. OpenAI suggests short sections with headings for its GPT models. The words you give are the same; only the layout changes, and the Builder does it for you.
Questions
Is this an AI prompt generator?
Yes, without the AI. It builds the prompt from your own answers, in your browser, so it is instant, free and private, and nothing is invented. To polish the result with a model, send it to the Grader, which can rewrite it with ChatGPT, Claude or your own key.
Does it work for Copilot and other assistants?
Yes. Choose Any chat for Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, Mistral or any other assistant. Every layout works everywhere; the named ones just follow each maker’s published advice more closely.
Where is my prompt kept?
In this browser only, so it survives a reload. Share link puts your answers in the link itself, after the # sign, which browsers never send to a server.
