Each blank is a guess the AI no longer makes. Fill the ones you know; the last line tells the AI to ask about the rest.

Why blanks instead of a finished prompt?

Only you know who reads it, which numbers matter and how long it should be. A tool that fills those in for you is guessing, which is exactly what you are trying to stop the AI doing. A blank in capitals, such as [HOW LONG], is easy to spot and quick to fill.

Is it different for ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini?

Yes. Claude gets each kind of material in its own XML tag, ChatGPT and Gemini get short headed sections, and Any AI gets plain labels. Each follows the prompting guidance its maker publishes.

Does my prompt go anywhere?

No. The improver runs on this page. Your prompt reaches an AI company only when you press Open in ChatGPT or Claude, and then it goes from your browser straight to them.

How is this different from the Prompt Grader?

The improver is the one-step version: paste, fill the blanks, copy. The Prompt Grader shows you the score and a question for each gap, and can have AI review and rewrite the prompt, which helps when a prompt matters or you want to learn why.
