Full prompt and why it works
Prompt
Write a first outreach message to {{creator}}, a creator on {{platform}}, inviting them to work with {{brand}}. Creators get many generic pitches, so this one must show I know their work, say plainly what I am offering, and make it easy to reply yes, no or "tell me more". What I know about their content, with specific posts or videos I have seen: """ {{creator_notes}} """ What we sell and why it fits their audience: {{fit}} What we are offering (free product, a fee, commission, or a mix, and any budget I am willing to share): {{offer}} What we would like from them, roughly: {{ask}} Write: 1. A direct message of under 100 words. 2. An email version of 120 to 180 words, with a subject line of up to 8 words. Each version should: - Open with one specific, genuine observation about their content from my notes. - Say who we are in one sentence and why their audience in particular. - State the offer and the ask plainly, including whether it is paid, and that any sponsored post would be clearly labeled as an ad or partnership, as advertising rules in most countries require. - End with one easy question, for example "Would you be open to a short call next week, or should I send details by email?" The tone should be friendly and professional, peer to peer. Avoid flattery such as "love your amazing content", pressure, the words "collab opportunity" and "exposure", and emojis unless my notes show they use them heavily. Use only the facts above. Do not invent follower counts, past campaigns, rates, other creators we work with or deadlines. If my notes have nothing specific about their content, say so and tell me what to look at on their profile before sending, rather than writing a message that could go to anyone.
Variables
- {{creator}}
- The creator's name or handle.
- {{platform}}
- Where they post, for example "Instagram", "TikTok" or "YouTube".
- {{brand}}
- Your brand or business name.
- {{creator_notes}}
- Specific posts or videos of theirs you have watched, and what you noticed about them and their audience.
- {{fit}}
- What you sell and why it suits their audience, in a sentence or two.
- {{offer}}
- What you are offering: free product, a fee, commission or a mix. Say if you would rather not name a budget yet.
- {{ask}}
- What you would like, for example "one video showing the product in a real morning routine".
Why it works
- Who it's for. It is written for a creator who receives many pitches, so it leads with a specific observation and states the offer, including whether it is paid, up front.
- What to avoid. It rules out invented follower counts and past campaigns, and states that sponsored posts will be labeled, which protects both you and the creator.
- If unsure. With nothing specific in your notes it tells you what to look at first, instead of sending a message that could go to anyone.
